Adobe has completed its acquisition of the stock media provider Fotolia in a bid to boost its content marketplace Creative Cloud.
35 million photos and videos from the acquired firm will be added to the cloud for purchase, with Fotolia also remaining as a separate service for those not part of Creative Cloud.
David Wadhwani, SVP of Digital Media at Adobe, said: "We’re now hard at work to radically simplify the buying and selling of stock content.
"Fotolia is helping Creative Cloud become the marketplace for creatives to buy and sell high-impact assets, find talent and promote their work in front of an influential global community."
Creative Cloud currently has 3.4 million members, and provides access to desktop tools, mobile apps and training in addition to creative assets.
