Admiral Computing Group Plc has won a contract to supply Midland Montagu, Midland Bank’s investment banking and securities arm, with a back-office settlements system to run on Tandem NonStop computers; the project is based on a system implemented for CL Alexanders Laing and Cruickshank Gilts Ltd in preparation for the Big Bang, and provides on-line position monitoring and reporting; Admiral was reluctant to specify how much the contract is worth ahead of announcement of the results for its first year as a public company, which are scheduled to be posted on March 17.
