Adeptol adds support for new file types

Adeptol has said that Adeptol Document Viewer would support viewing of Outlook MSG (in HTML & Plain Text formats) and EML messages without the need to have an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) on the server or client machine.

By CBR Staff Writer

Adeptol Document Viewer is an AJAX based document viewer and support more than 300 file types.

Adeptol said Outlook Viewer can be added as an extra add on module to the existing Adeptol Viewer or run separately to just view the outlook file formats.

The module allows viewing any email as a single page and can save the attachments embedded within the message.

The module also offers the ability to open, convert and view attachments by simply clicking on the list of the attachments.

Adeptol also announced release of an Outlook Conversion Engine which allows conversion of Outlook MSG and EML messages to PDF and image (TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF etc) along with plain text extraction from messages.

Adeptol Document Viewer offers an easy way to view documents directly from the server without downloading them locally on the client machine.
