ADECCO BOOSTS STAFFING OPERATIONS WITH DELPHI BUY

Delphi Group Plc, the London-based IT staff consultancy, has accepted a 167m pound bid from Adecco SA, the French group which claims to be the world’s largest personnel staffing agency. The acquisition is designed to boost Adecco’s operations in the IT field. Delphi generates around 62% of its revenues in the UK and 30% in the Us and it has 3,824 consultants on assignment. Delphi has also sold its 30.5% stake in Decan, the French services company, for 25.3m pounds to Metamor Worldwide Inc, the Houston, Texas-based services company.
