Irvine, California-based AST Research Inc has added three new entry-level models to its Power Premium computer line: the Power Premium 4/25s, 3/25 and 3/25s offer users a 25 percent CPU performance increase at up to 26% less than AST’s earlier Premium II desktop systems; the 80486SX-based 4/25s is $2,200 with floppy only; the 3/25 starts at $2,000, the 3/25s is from $1,600.
