ADC announces contract with H3G Italy

ADC has won a supply contract with Hutchison 3G Italy. The agreement is for ADC to provide broadband connectivity products that H3G needs to complete its Italian 3G network.

During the two-year agreement, H3G will acquire a wide range of ADC products. These will include digital cross connects (DSX), optical cross connects (OX), patch cords and FiberGuide fiber cabling systems.

Hutchinson Whampoa’s European 3G affiliates have an established relationship with ADC. In September, H3G UK announced that it would deploy ADC’s convergent billing system to support multimedia services. The system is also being deployed in Italy; Hutchinson plans to use it in every country where it has 3G operations.
