Adaptec Inc is shipping a USB-to-SCSI adapter it said is expected to attract primarily Apple iMac users who prefer to use high-speed SCSI devices. The USBConnect converter comes with a meter-long connector cable which plugs into the USB port. The product will cost approximately $100, including full set-up CD-ROM for both Apple and PC platforms.
