There are still two or three odd items in Corel Corp that don’t really fit – but now there is one fewer. Corel Corp has reached agreement to sell its CD Creator line to Adaptec Inc, Milpitas, California for $12m. The software controls the process of recording on Compact Disk-Recordable drives, and the sale includes all versions, including localized versions, of Corel CD Creator. It was Adaptec that approached Corel proposing the deal, according to Corel.
