ADAPTEC ALLEGES COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS AGAINST HARD DRIVES

Milpitas, California-based Adaptec Inc has filed suit against Hard Drives International Inc, Insight Distribution Network Inc and Insight Computers alleging copyright violations, misappropriation of intellectual property and unfair trade practices: Adaptec alleges that Hard Drives illegally copied Adaptec’s software and related documentation in an attempt to sell products, represented as manufactured by Adaptec, to unsuspecting customers and system integrators.
