Adapso, the pressure group for US computer services companies, looks set to make itself look foolish over Lotus Development Corp’s look and feel suits against Paperback Software and Mosaic Software: while the subcommittee representing large systems software vendors, recommended that Adapso simply reaffirm its 1983 proposal for improved software protection, the microcomputer software committee urged the organisation not to take any position until the issue had been subjected to further study.
