Adani Group, a diversified and dynamic business group, has selected SAP software to consolidate its IT systems and power a strategic transformation across the company’s diversified operations.
Under this agreement, SAP will assist the Adani Group in its enterprise-wide rollout of over 40 SAP applications, including enterprise performance management offerings from the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio and the NetWeaver technology platform.
SAP said that the business transformation aims to support information-based decision-making through real-time analysis; lower total cost of ownership while creating a standardised and integrated IT landscape; and create an integrated value chain across the Adani Group.
Adani selected SAP to implement a scalable, standardised IT platform to help support and speed decision-making, manage costs and enable operational excellence across the group’s companies.
Adani Group executive director and chief financial officer Devang Desai said they believe that technology will play a pivotal role on their journey toward achieving their business objectives.
"Our association with SAP will provide better insights across the enterprise to innovate, expand our international market frontiers and guarantee a scalable foundation for the organisation’s future growth," Desai said.
