Acxion Corp, the Conway, Arkansas-based data integration services company, has acquired two companies: MuliNational Concepts Ltd and Catalogue Marketing Services Inc for a total of $4.6m. MultiNational, of Hoboken, New Jersey, is a mailing list and database maintenance provider for consumer catalogue companies, while Sarasota, Florida-based Catalogue Marketing, under the name of Shop the World by Mail, produces an international catalogue of catalogues around the world. Acxion sees the purchases as a method of expanding the market for its own data delivery products through established market channels.
