Performancesoft will link its Performance Views software with PPM’s Perspective reporting application to set benchmarks and performance indicators against which incident activity can be monitored.

The software serves up aggregated trend data that can be analyzed for optimizing incident resolution programs.

Perspective documents the who, what, when, where of security incidents and fires off follow-on investigation workflow tasks.

Linking this technology to performance management is a natural step to take for security departments according to PPM’s CEO Denis O’Sullivan.

They need to go beyond documenting and investigating incidents, he said. They need to implement countermeasures that reduce loss or mitigate liability and also measure the effectiveness of these countermeasures.
