The South San Francisco-based firm has appointed seasoned insurance industry veteran David Smart to head up its market push into the sector.
Smart joined Actuate at the end of last year having spent several years as business development director at the UK’s Insurance Services Office – a provider of insurance claims and property and liability risk information services. Actuate is planning to launch a major campaign to get its enterprise reporting platform deployed in more UK and European insurers.
