ACTIX INTRODUCES GRAPHICSENGINE 70 ACCELERATOR BOARD…

Santa Clara-based Actix Systems Inc, which describes itself as one of the first manufacturers of Windows accelerator boards, has added the GraphicsEngine 70, a 70 MHz zero wait state Windows accelerator board claimed to offer a 1,000% speed increase over currently available VGA boards on the market; using an S3 microprocessor it’s $350.
