Open systems integrator ACT Logsys Ltd has been awarded a three-year UKP18m contract to provide facilities management of the Civil Aviation Authority’s administration computer system: the deal calls for ACT Logsys and its sister companies within the ACT Group to support the authority’s existing base of 2,000 computers and to design and install a wide area network linking further IBM compatibles and Apple machines at main sites in Gatwick and Holborn and other regional offices.
