Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Dallas, Texas-based ACS will provide UnumProvident with mainframe and help-desk support, as well as assisting in the management of its midrange and end-user environments.
Last month ACS revealed strong revenue and profit growth for its second fiscal quarter and announced a tender offer to repurchase as many as 55.5 million shares, roughly 45%, of its outstanding common stock.
