The three year contract calls for ACS’s implementation of MIDAS+DataVision technology across the entire OhioHealth system. MIDAS+DataVision technology equips chief medical officers and other clinical and administrative professionals with a set of analytic tools and services that enable data analysis, web-access to one of the US’s largest databases and SmartReport[TM], an application which identifies measures outside of an expected range as opportunities for improvement.

ACS’s MIDAS+ DataVision solution was introduced three years ago, and has since been used by more than 125 hospitals nationwide to drive improvements and cost efficiencies in patient care, reduce risk, identify and compare performance to industry best practices, and achieve quality measurement compliance standards.

Phil Underwood, director of fiscal informatics for OhioHealth said: ACS’ MIDAS+ DataVision platform provides an executive-level approach to process improvement with helpful leads to potential performance concerns. This will help us continue to elevate the level of service and quality across our organization.
