Under the terms of the contract, the Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) team will also include IBM, Sysom and a consortium of minority business enterprises. ACS will provide mainframe and web hosting operations and service, application support, and disaster recovery.
ACS has extensive experience in human services information technology outsourcing and in the use and application of appropriate technology, all of which will help Maryland improve service to our customers, said Kirk Grothe, CIO of Maryland Department of Human Resources.
