Acer has added three new Aspire laptops to its Gemstone Blue multimedia notebooks series.
According to Acer, the new notebooks AS5536, AS7735Z, and AS5739G feature LED backlit technology and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The new 15.6-inch Aspire AS5536 comes with 2.1GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 dual-core processor with 1MB L2 cache and 800MHz FSB support. The notebook also features 3GB DDR2 667MHz memory, 320GB SATA hard drive and has ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card.
The new 17.3-inch Aspire AS7735Z comes with 2.0GHz Intel Pentium T4200 processor with 1MB L2 cache and 800MHz FSB support. It also features 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory, 250GB SATA hard drive and has Intel graphics media accelerator 4500MHD.
The new 15.6-inch Aspire AS5739G comes with 2.1GHz Intel Core2 Duo mobile processor T6500 with 2MB L2 cache and 800MHz FSB. It also features NVIDIA GeForce GT130M graphics with 1GB memory and 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory. The model comes with Acer PowerSmart Key and Bio-protection fingerprint system designed for securing and privatising personal information.
The new laptops come with the Backup Manager to back-up all the important files and information stored on it.
The prices of AS5536, AS7735Z and AS5739G begin at approximately $480, $600 and $750, respectively. The Aspire AS5536 and Aspire AS7735Z notebooks are available for US customers and the AS5739G is expected to be available by the end of June.
