ACER TO SPIN OFF SOFTWARE DIVISION

Taiwan computer giant Acer Inc will spin off its software division as a separate company this year. Our chairman Stan Shih has said software will be the one of our key focuses in future development, so we plan to spin off our software division to strengthen its development, a company official said.
