ACER PICKS ZIP DRIVES FOR ASPIRE RANGE

Taiwanese personal computer maker Acer Inc is to use Iomega Corp’s 100MB Zip drive in selected models of its new range of Aspire series of home multimedia computers. They will be on sale in the Asia and Pacific regions from the beginning of next year. Mike Lynch, director of ZIP OEM business in the region said: With multimedia software and hardware enjoying increasing popularity, the need for high capacity storage is becoming more prevalent.
