Acer Group Inc of Taiwan plans to expand its operations by establishing 10 foreign manufacturing sites by the end of 1993: it has four currently and new ones will open in Chile, Brazil, Mexico and South East Asia. It is also downsizing its Hsindsheu plant and is said to be considering relocating it to China. It says it will open a further 20 sites over the next three years.
