ACER GIVES PROTEON $3M CONTRACT

Acer Inc has given Proteon Inc a $3m OEM contract for its IBM-compatible Token Ring networking hardware: Acer will be incorporating Proteon’s ProNET-4/16 network interface boards with the Series 70 Intelligent Wire Centre in the Acer Token Ring Network 5290 Series.
