Acer Canada has debuted a new line of S1 series LED monitors that combine the new LED technology with a 13mm to 15mm profile.
The company said that new LED monitors, available in 23-inch and 21.5-inch models, offer a 16:9 aspect ratio and 1920×1080 resolution.
They feature a 12,000,000:1 contrast ratio via Acer adaptive contrast management (ACM) and embody a new technology that enables users to adjust images frame by frame for enhancement of gradation and detail.
Acer Canada product marketing manager Chris Chiang said that the S1 series monitors were designed to be one of the slimmest monitors available for consumers with a limited amount of desk space.
"Another key consideration was designing a monitor that delivers low energy consumption and environmental impact," Chiang said.
