ACCESS TECHNOLOGY ACQUIRES MINDWRITE

Access Technology Inc, the South Natick, Massachusetts company best known for its 20/20 spreadsheet, is moving into the Apple Macintosh market with acquisition of MindWrite from Athenasoft Inc and a letter of intent to acquire Trapeze from Data Tailor Inc: MindWrite is a word processor with integrated outlining for the Mac that allows users to write the way they think; Trapeze is a presentation worksheet that combines graphics, text, spreadsheet, database and page layout in a single application and both came out one year ago this month.
