Tokyo software developer Access Corp likes the idea of the low cost Internet access device and reckons it is a television add on. It has software for a $200 to $300 modem-keyboard combination to enable sets to be used for Internet access, with facilities for sending electronic mail and viewing home pages. Access is teaming with consumer electronics manufacturers and sees sets with the facilities coming to market by midsummer.
