Accenture has entered in to a three-year agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks to provide IT application management services. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nokia Siemens Networks will outsource to Accenture IT application management services. Accenture will provide support for certain Nokia Siemens Networks human resources and finance and control functions, and its corporate-wide tools and platforms.

Manfred Immitzer, chief information officer of Nokia Siemens Networks, said: “Nokia Siemens Networks has successfully partnered with Accenture over recent years. This agreement allows us to draw on the application services expertise of a trusted business partner to help provide our IT capability with additional flexibility, greater agility and increased cost management.”

Veli-Pekka Lappalainen, a senior executive of communications & high tech group at Accenture, said: “Accenture’s relationship with NSN spans more than a decade, well beyond NSN’s formation in 2007.
