Acacia subsidiary settles litigation against Motorola

US-based Acacia Research Corporation has announced that its Telematics Corporation subsidiary has settled a litigation against Motorola, which was pending in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

The Telematics technology generally relates to systems and methods for displaying mobile vehicle information on a map. This technology can be used in navigation and fleet management systems that combine wireless communication with GPS tracking and map displays. Terms of the agreement are kept confidential.
