Abraxas Software International, the Lincoln, California software house that changed its name to Intrix Systems Group Inc last year, has filed for bankruptcy: its speciality was SQL-based distribution and accounting, inventory control, order processing and purchase order applications; Intrix is owned by Sacramento, California-based property company CSY Investments, which also owns Microport Systems Inc, but contrary to reports when CSY acquired Microport, there is no direct connection between the two software companies, and Microport is not affected by the bankruptcy.
