About 100 jobs will be lost with the closure of Bull HN Information Systems Ltd’s plant in Newhouse, near Glasgow (see front), but the company is investing UKP5m in a new centre in Livingston, where it will consolidate sales, software development and systems integration, and will need 100 new software and service engineers, maintaining employment in Scotland at some 300 or so.
