ABC Systems & Development, the privately held company behind the Lan Licenser networked applications license monitoring tools, has added integration with Hewlett-Packard’s OpenView enterprise systems management suite with the latest 3.3 release of its products. Adding OpenView integration means Lan Licenser is now a plug-and-play option for all the leading enterprise management environments except for Computer Associates’ Unicenter. But the strength of the company’s existing relationship with CA rival Tivoli means that this hole is unlikely to be filled in the near future, a company spokesperson said.
