Newbury, Berkshire-based Abacus Electronics Ltd has completed its acquisition of Stonehouse, Gloucestershire company Component Technology Ltd, where turnover is running at UKP4.5m a year: Abacus says it expects that to double within three years; Abacus distributes electronic components, and the acquisition of Component Technology brings the overall group turnover to UKP25m.
