Abacus Polar Plc, the Newbury, UK-based Electronics component distributor, has warned that it will not achieve the expected 9.6m pounds pre-tax profits this year. The company blamed the slowdown in the semiconductor industry. It sees no signs of immediate improvements and analysts now expect profits of just 7m pounds for the year.
