Giving further details of his company’s transactions over the Christmas period (CI No 837), AB Electronic Products Group Plc chairman Peter Phillips says Micro Express Ltd came from the receiver for a nominal sum and Newbury Electronics Ltd, which had a turnover of UKP1m last year, was sold for a similar amount: Phillips confirms that the sale of printed circuit board manufacturer Newbury will have no effect on AB’s PCB assembly operations for the likes of IBM.
