AB DENSO HAS A THREE-PROCESSOR PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER

AB Denso, a joint venture between NEC Corp and Rockwell’s Allen-Bradley factory automation unit of Chicago, has produced a three-processor programmable controller for marketing from summer 1988: aimed at traditional production lines with factory local networks installed and a requirement for fault-tolerance, it is the first three-CPU controller.
