UK motoring organisation and general insurance broker AA has selected TIBCO Software for its business and IT transformation programme.
TIBCO will provide enterprise products and services, helping AA to build a platform to address its immediate and future needs.
The platform will integrate AA’s in-house systems with those of its partner firms and help embrace the Fast Data concept.
The TIBCO Enterprise Message Service Appliance will support the first phase of the transformation programme.
The drop-in hardware appliance simplifies the management of large messaging implementations to lower administrative and infrastructure costs.
AA will also use TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6 to expose information as real-time events or API services for those looking to exchange data in real time on an array of devices.
TIBCO professional services will assist AA in the design and planning phases of the programme.
