According to the company, the new product, known as Actus Workstation, provides medical coders with access to physician note and patient demographic data via the internet. This information is then automatically uploaded to the organization’s billing system, where it is electronically archived.
David Byrd, A-Life Medical’s vice president of sales and marketing, said the firm developed the product to give customers a competitive edge in the billing services market.
