Once installed, users can use Outlook to send SMS messages using their existing address books, contacts and distribution lists. Messages can also be sent to multiple recipients simultaneously.

The service uses a European SMS center, meaning some networks may not be supported, though FAB affirms that the solution is compatible with almost any wireless device.

The only other drawback to the service is the inability for recipients to reply to the user’s Outlook inbox, but the company hopes to address this. In the meantime, replies can be directed to any mobile number.
