Under the agreement, a technical interoperability certification between A10’s IDsentrie network identity management appliance and RSA’s SecurID technology will be established.

Lee Chen, president and chief executive at A10 Networks said: Together, A10 Networks’ IDsentrie network identity management appliance and RSA SecurID technology provide identity-based monitoring with two-factor authentication to increase network security and visibility.

According to A10, the IDsentrie is a network identity management appliance for password management with instant internet protocol-to-identity resolution, network authentication, account management and identity-based monitoring and reporting.

The SecurID provides authentication functions requiring users to identify themselves with two unique factors such as a password or PIN and a hardware or software authenticator that they have before they are granted access to secure business information.

In February 2007, NetMotion Wireless joined the RSA partner program to certify interoperability between its Mobility XE technology and SecurID authentication solution.
