Someone must be buying all those video conferencing systems: 8×8 Inc, Anaheim, California, claims it has recently shipped its 500,000th VCP, video conferencing chip, a part used by firms such as PictureTel Corp, Tandberg Data ASA, Canon Inc and NEC Corp.
