88OPEN PICKS APTEST AS THE NAME FOR ITS NEW FIRM THAT WILL MARKET ITS APPLICATIONS TESTING SOFTWARE

88open Inc is still in the throes of spinning out that separate company it promised to form to peddle its validation technology to other consortia backing architectures other than the Motorola Inc 8800 RISC. The new operation’s name will be ApTest, short for Applied Testing and Technology. 88open continues certifying software for the 88000 chips, the latest being Pick and Oracle7.
