It’s thought that almost all of the administrative, sales and marketing staff at the group were laid off yesterday, signalling the final collapse of the company; the remaining staff are thought to be the development teams behind some of Rage’s most promising forthcoming games.
It’s not currently known what bids – if any – have been placed on the table for the various games – some of which, such as cross-platform racing title Lamborghini, are nearing completion. Other franchises owned by Rage include games based on the works of author and ex-SAS man Andy McNab, and a follow-up to the successful Rocky boxing game was also in development.
