3NET TAKES AIM AT THE CONTINENT

Basingstoke, Hampshire ISDN products specialist 3Net Ltd, wants to expand onto the continent, and is looking for distributors within six months, it wants representation in France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Switzerland and Scandinavia. It will initially be pushing its OmniBand family of inverse multiplexers, and its InterChange ISDN communications products. Paul Jellicoe, formerly international sales manager at EIT Group Plc, has been appointed to head up the European push. Separately, 3Net also announced that it is to supply British Telecommunications Plc with its InterChange ISDN products, which are to be used to support the latter’s implementation of the Euro-ISDN initiative. 3Net – now owned by Securicor Communications Ltd – says the contract is worth up to UKP500,000.
