The London-based venture capital group Investors in Industry Plc, better known as 3i, has bought 75 licences for the BoKS access control program from the Swedish company Dynasoft AB through local representatives Crownshield Computers Ltd. 3i is evaluating the software in preperation for a system-wide introduction at the beginning of next year: it hopes to protect the information held on its databases without hindering access for authorised users. BoKS complies with the widely used US Department of Defense Orange Book Security standards.
