Prior to installing Orion, Master Cutlery says it was in need of a full-service, integrated system to run basic enterprise resource planning (ERP) functions including finance, accounting and inventory tracking in its 70,000 square foot warehouse.
In addition, the company knew that it would need to support customer relationship management (CRM) requirements in the future.
Affordability was a critical factor in the selection process and very few software vendors offer the breadth of functionality available from the Orion business suite at a comparable price, said Victor Lee, president of Master Cutlery.
