Technically Broadband Mobile handed back the license three weeks ago, however, the ministry permitted the company to keep the license until Tuesday Sept 18 to see if the company could be sold to another bidder.
The license will now be reissued, although the method has still to be agreed. Following the failure of Broadband Mobile to secure another buyer, the possibility that the ministry would auction the license is slight, according to industry analysts. It will probably have to use the beauty contest method.
