3Dfx Interactive Inc says it should ship its four millionth Voodoo 3D chipset this month, representing the cumulative sales of its Voodoo2, Voodoo Graphics and Voodoo Rush products. The San Jose, California-based company says that it more than doubled its 1997 installed base of 1.5 million in the first five months of this year. By next month it says there should be over 250 3D games written supporting its chips.
