3DTV CORP RELEASES 3D MAGIC STEREOSCOPIC SYSTEM

San Rafael, California-based 3DTV Corp has released 3D Magic, a stereoscopic system for Windows personal computers that includes a parallel or serial port interface, electronic liquid crystal diode shuttering glasses and a floppy disk with StereoScopic Showcase – a gallery of three-dimensional images and interactive demonstrations – and Ricochet, a stereoscopic game for personal computers. It needs a colour monitor, 1Mb of memory and a mouse. List price is $300 with an introductory price of $215. The three-dimensional images are viewed on the computer screen with the LCD glasses acting as optical shutters.
