3Com Corp said late Monday that it had acquired internet consulting, web design and software engineering company, Interactive Web Concepts Inc (IWC). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. IWC, based in Mountain View, California, will be folded into 3Com’s consulting services unit. The acquisition brings to 3Com more than 40 highly-skilled internet service professionals, IWC’s proven methodologies and tools, and a strong portfolio of e-business clients, said Chu Chang, vice president and general manager of 3Com consulting Services.
